I'm Abdul Abdula. I was born Nancy Finkelowicz, but for much of my life I didn't know what I was. My father was an Orthodox Jew and my mother a Neo-Nazi. As you can well imagine, I didn't have a normal childhood. One thing my parents shared was hatred of homosexuality. I find out I was gay and felt suicidal. But then, I find out about the Afghan Gay-Lesbian Alliance and converted to Islam. But homophobia is rife in the Muslim world too, and so the AGLA is committed to fighting the good fight.
